The Gilalai Institute is the result of the partnership of sound therapist and writer, Githa Ben-David, and writer, musician and mystic, Lars Muhl. Both have for many years been working with sound, healing, spiritual energy and the religious and spiritual traditions of the world.
The purpose of the institute is hidden in its name:
gil-a-lai (Heb.): Rolling together like a ball, like a wheel, movement.
A musician who participated in the procession at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem after the wall had been rebuild under the direction of Nehemiah (Neh. 12:36).
Metaphysical meaning: A strong love thought in conciousness that realizes how important it is to have cooperative, harmonious activity in one’s thoughts in order to increase one’s substance, and to rebuild the seemingly mortal organism into a spiritual body.
